Feeling Stuck in Anxiety or OCD?

Constant overthinking can feel exhausting. You may feel trapped in intrusive thoughts, reassurance-seeking, mental checking, avoidance, or anxiety that never fully shuts off, even when part of you knows these patterns are keeping you stuck.

Therapy can help you break free from the cycle.

Together, we’ll work toward helping you stop organizing your life around anxiety and avoidance.

Our work may include learning how to:

  • Reduce compulsive patterns

  • Stop avoiding situations that trigger anxiety

  • Learn to tolerate uncertainty without spiraling

  • Feel more present in daily life

  • Regain confidence and flexibility

Treatment uses evidence-based approaches including ERP and ACT.

You don’t have to keep living around anxiety.

OCD and anxiety can slowly limit your world, affecting your peace of mind, relationships, work, and ability to fully enjoy life.

Effective therapy can help you create lasting change, not just short-term coping.

You can begin moving forward with more freedom, confidence, and flexibility.

Meet Me
OCD & Anxiety Therapist in Garden City, NY

If your mind won’t shut off.
If intrusive thoughts, anxiety, doubt, or “what if” thinking are taking over your life.
If you feel trapped in cycles of compulsions, reassurance-seeking, avoidance, or fear.
You are not alone and it does not have to stay this way.

I am Jessica Bedziner, PsyD, a licensed psychologist and OCD therapist on Long Island specializing in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD and anxiety disorders. I help children, teens, and adults learn how to respond differently to intrusive thoughts, uncertainty, panic, and compulsive urges so they can feel more present, confident, and in control of their lives again.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based, using ERP, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients break free from cycles of fear, overthinking, compulsions, and avoidance.

I earned my doctorate from Hofstra University and completed extensive specialized training in OCD and anxiety treatment through a renowned intensive outpatient program (IOP). I provide therapy in person in Garden City, NY and online throughout New York.
